7 signs you’re ready for a high vibe relationship
As we all know, the rise of conscious relationship is here. As a collective we no longer want to struggle in love, we don’t want to simply survive in love, we want to thrive in it. This shift in the collective consciousness has brought new awareness into the way we date and relate.
This is what I call, a “high-vibe relationship.” And here are 7 signs that you’re ready to bring more consciousness + compassion into your connections (new or old).
1. Your heart is open, regardless of the outcome.
There are people who are born with open hearts (ahem, Leo Moons i’m looking at you) and there are people who need to do a lot of inner work to remain in the frequency of generosity, affection, and love. One of the biggest challenges many people have when it comes to love is remaining open, soft, vulnerable. When you carry past wounding that you haven’t dealt with, especially if you are unaware of it and dating on autopilot, it can be easy to project those fears + wounds onto the people you date. You’ll know when you’re beginning to heal these old patterns and wounds because the outcome of a date or relationship is no longer tied to your sense of self worth + empowerment.
Dating with an open heart means that you remain open, surrendered, and ready for love. You don’t allow setbacks or misalignment to dictate how open to love you are. From this frequency you can be open to love in a deeper way because you aren’t asking the person in front of you to be anything other than who they are, right now, in this moment.
2. You’re past your saturn return.
This may be a bit controversial, because of course I’m not suggesting that you can’t find and experience deep profound conscious love before your thirties. What I am saying, is that the amount of awareness + compassion you have for yourself and others gets so much bigger after the saturn return. This is especially true for anyone who has Saturn in Libra, Saturn in the 7th House, or any Aspects (Square, Opposition, Trine, Sextile) between Saturn and Venus. The saturn return humbles us, it shows us that we aren’t always in control, and it requires us to sink into life and surrender. Post Saturn Return we are more conscious and aware of who we are and who we are not.
Because the Saturn Return is an initiation into deeper self-awareness, people who are past their Saturn Return are less likely to be reactive and/or seeking to heal their inner wounding through relationship. There’s a deeper maturity that comes with the Saturn Return and this maturity helps us to get clear on what’s good for us and what’s not.
It’s all about discernment, baby.
3. You love when happy couples cross your path and witnessing love makes you feel good, not envious.
This isn’t necessarily a sign of readiness for a High Vibe Relationship, because as we all know, jealousy is natural and normal and is the universe showing you what you deeply deeply desire. But here’s something i’ve come to understand about manifesting and aligning with deep, profound love: when love is in your orbit, it’s on its way to you. So if you can witness the love and joy of other people and be happy for them (even if you’re wishing you were experiencing it) then love has no choice but to come to you too, and soon.
Every time you witness love and bask in the glow of it, you’re expressing gratitude to the universe for the love that is in your life, in all of its forms. This is also a sign of openness + vulnerability. Often the people who hate PDA or get uncomfortable with expressions of love and affection are the same people who deeply want and desire love but don’t feel worthy of it.
4. You are living in integrity with your soul’s path and values.
When you’re living in integrity with your soul it will be 1000x easier to find and connect with the person who is a good fit for you. Part of being in a high-vibe relationship is discernment - the willingness and ability to be mindful about who you choose to date in the first place. The truth is that a conscious partnership just isn’t possible if you’re with a partner who’s committed to misunderstanding or hurting you. When you know who you are and what your path is, its difficult to date people who don’t see you in your fullness.
Knowing yourself + living in alignment with your fullest potential is not only a prerequisite for feeling fulfilled in all areas of your life, but it also serves as a barrier between you and potentially bad partners. While we may think that we all want to be with somebody who is confident and full of self-love, the truth is that there are a lot of people who can’t handle being in a relationship with somebody who is self-assured. Knowing your heart and following your own path allows the Universe to align you with people who are right for you and is a natural turn off for people who are looking for a partner they can control or manipulate.
5. You have a strong inner protector.
We discussed the important of the feminine in point one when we talked about remaining open + surrendered. It’s great to be soft, open, and vulnerable but without the ability to set boundaries and walk away, that softness could lead to heartache. Another sign that you’re ready for a high-vibe relationship is that you have a strong inner protector. I define the inner protector as the part of you that has your own back, that’s willing to stick up for yourself, and that is ultimately ready + willing to prioritize YOU first if needed. Of course, some of us have over active and overly vigilant inner protectors but that’s not what I’m talking about.
In order to be in a conscious partnership you have to have a high tolerance for boundaries and conflict, within yourself and coming from your partner. If you can’t set boundaries there’s a good chance you have a hard time accepting them. The ability to find the dance between you + your lover, where you end and they begin, is crucial to building conscious love. Without a strong sense of self + ability to know and speak to your needs, you’re prone to codependence in relationships.
6. You’re attracting Libras’ and people with a strong Lover archetype into your field.
This one’s esoteric and not necessarily something you can fix or do, just simply something to take note of. Libras are the lovers of the zodiac, and most importantly, they’re here to teach (and be taught) the frequency of love. If you notice that the people you’re attracting are heavily influenced by Venus in their makeup (whether astrologically or they’re just simply tapped into the energy of the lover) then that’s a sign that you’re in the frequency of love. This doesn’t mean that these relationships will be perfect (Libras and archetypal Lovers can be fickle after all) but it does mean that your soul is craving the type of experiences that only true profound love can offer.
This is also true if you’re attracting people who’s sun, moon, mars, or venus is the same sign as your descendant. The descendant is your access point to connection with other people so people with those placements will activate the lover within you, naturally. It’s also a sign that you’re ready to integrate your shadow and begin to experience love in a way that brings you closer to your whole true nature.
What’s your Descendant Sign? Easy. It’s the sign opposite your Rising.
7. You understand your moon sign and the unique needs you have inside of partnership.
So here’s the thing about love: what works for one person will very rarely work for the next. A little quick route to beginning to understand YOUR unique needs in love + partnership is to discover your moon and all of the wisdom it has to offer you. The moon is where your attachment system is held, its where your subconscious patterns lie, and for many of us, its the key to your heart. Instead of trying to make yourself fit into the common narrative of love and relationship, its much better for you to align yourself with a relationship that nourishes your moon.
This will allow you to be unapologetic about your unique relationship needs and will also allow you to care for those needs on your own, for those moments when your partner is at capacity and can’t hold you in your tenderness. Knowing your moon is knowing your heart. Take this a step further and get to know your lover(s) moon too. There’s no better way to love somebody honestly.
The Key Takeaway
When you know your heart and align with your most authentic expression, high vibe relationship is inevitable (if you so desire it). So many people are trying to hack the attachment system and create lasting, loving, secure partnerships with other people without truly knowing themselves.
Knowledge is power.
And knowledge of self is wisdom.
You got this, honeys.
